Framed Originals and Custom Orders Because of the individual effort that goes into making a piece of WordPowerArt®, we prefer to communicate directly with our customers, especially for original and custom pieces. We will try to keep the process as simple as possible, since we understand that many online shoppers like to just click and buy. The nature of our product, however, sometimes require that we speak with you, or communicate viaemail,before the purchase is made, if only to give you an estimate of the cost. (Please note that a partial payment is required for all custom pieces.) If the piece does not already exist, this also allows us the opportunity to tailor it more specifically to your needs.If the piece is listed "available" on the site, you can order it withthe order formbut you may want to contact us anyway, as it may have just been sold.

Holiday & Special Occasion Orders When ordering existing WordPowerArt® (i.e., prints, cards and magnets) for a major holiday, you shouldcontact usas early as possible and cushion in more time for shipping and delivery, since these are busy periods for both delivery service providers and WordPowerArt®.You should also allow sufficient time when ordering a piece for a special occasion, such as a graduation or wedding, as this is likely to be a custom piece. We would want to discuss details with you, and then we would need enough time to design, handcraft, and ship the item out to you.

Payment Methods We accept personal checks or money orders. After You Have Placed Your Order An email will be sent confirming the order, shipping details and all applicable charges.
Shipping In-stock items generally ship within 48 hours after the order is received.Orders paid for by check will be shipped when the check has cleared.We will alert you as soon as possible by email or telephone if your order will be delayed, as well as provide an expected ship date.When the order is shipped, we will send you an email with the tracking number. Please be assured that all WordPowerArt® pieces will be sufficiently wrapped and insulated to provide maximum protection during shipping. Shipping and Handling Rates We ship only to the continental United States, using the U.S. Postal Service's Priority Mail, FedEx or UPS, depending on the circumstances. We will always give you an estimate of these services in advance of the shipment.
Rush Orders SomeWordPowerArt® items are more popular than others. Unfortunately, due to the handcrafted nature of our originals and custom pieces, adequate time is required to make them. Many of our customers understand this, but we are also aware that some orders are primarily for gift giving and we understand the disappointment when friends and family can't receive their thoughtfully selected gift in time for the special day. If you are interested in giving the perfect gift that we cannot make in time to meet your deadline, we suggest some alternatives: a gift card can be included with a personalized message that describes the item you selected for them; or we can accept your payment details and then send a message in a nice gift envelope that describes the item and state the expected delivery time. We will work through the details with you on those occasions.
Caring for Your WordPowerArt® Your original or custom WordPowerArt® piece should be handled with the same care as that given a piece of porcelain or china. We work extensively with gems, stones, shells, beads, and other small ornaments; if left alone, they will remain in place. That said, we will send you a few extras of whatever gems, stones, shells, beads, etc. we use to handcraft your piece should you need to replace them (a small spot of glue should adequately hold them in place). In caring for your piece, you should also not place it in direct sunlight or in a windy environment that could cause particles of dirt to attach to the piece's canvas-like surface.
Guarantees and Returns Assuming that you have followed the steps above and taken proper precaution with your WordPowerArt® piece, we will stand behind our work and offer a 100% guarantee for items damaged while in transit. However, you must notify us within 48 hours after receipt that you have damaged goods. Please hold the original packing materials and damaged merchandise for inspection; otherwise no replacement or refund can be honored. We will give you return shipping information and work through the return details.
